Instructor
Renata Simon
professional dancer, teacher, dance therapist
About me
When I was 4, I went
to my mum and asked her to take me to ballet class because I wanted to be a ballerina. I’ve been dancing ever since. This is what I’ve been doing my whole life. It is through dancing that I’ve developed physically as well as mentally. Whatever I learnt there, I tried to implement in my everyday life as well. I felt already at a very young age that moving my body is the best thing that could happen to me. I loved it then and I still love it today. The best feeling is when I myself become the movement instead of just moving my body. Dancing encompasses everything that intrigues me: the discovery of our potential, music, self-awareness, energies, emotions and states.
The Presence Behind the Method
My name is Renata, founder of Move in Your Soul! (in Hungarian: Mozdulj a lelkedből)
My work began with the body. I come from a background in classical and improvisational dance, with stage experience and a deep understanding of movement as a non-verbal language.
For me, movement has never been merely a form. It has always been an expression of inner truth.
What Shaped My Path
My journey has also been influenced by Eastern philosophical and body-based systems: Buddhist perspectives, tantra, hatha and marma yoga, and the body–mind principles of Ayurveda.
These teachings did not become directions I followed, but rather inner foundations that gradually integrated into my life:
the practice of presence,
self-observation,
the search for balance,
and taking responsibility.
For me, the body and consciousness have always been inseparable.
Since 2017
Since 2017, I have been facilitating self-awareness workshops, retreats, and private sessions.
Over the years, it has become clear to me that people often understand what is happening within them — yet real change does not happen on the level of understanding alone.
Move from Your Soul! was born from many years of experiential work.
