Dr. Paxson is the Head of Think Tank, author and established award-winning innovator. Her novel approaches in multiple fields have been incorporated into university classes and textbooks, adopted by both multinationals and start-ups and enacted as amendments to laws. Her ability to think creatively earned her a highest (Band 1) rating in the world’s leading guide to global lawyers in 2019 and enabled a first place award in 2018 from The Financial Times in the area of knowledge and data management. She speaks three languages and lives in Washington, DC, with her husband, two children and a highly literate cat (who makes her debut in the field of education on the cover of Dr. Paxson’s book).
In addition to her various degrees and academic achievements, Dr. Paxson has recently completed Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
The genesis of Dr. Paxson’s method was the author’s young daughter asking why “chicken” is spelled with “ck” while “cat” is spelled with “c." The author gave a quick answer and started looking for a profound one. To her surprise, no user-friendly guidance existed for either children or adults on when to spell the /k/ sound as “c,” “k,” “ke,” “cc,” “ck,” “ch,” “qu” or “que”. Dr. Paxson's book had to be written, and these video-lessons had to be created, to give these answers. In a clear and engaging way. In Vivid Lessons.
