Nizar Bredan is an architect and passionate photographer based in Brussels. His curious nature and his taste for challenge led him to take interest in and learn multiple practices in a self-taught way. Nizar tries to consciously mix disciplines to best serve his message / subject / idea. On this matter, he presented the particularity of his approach at TEDx Misrata under the title "The exploratory attitude of the creative mind". With this intervention, he seeks to open the spectrum of possibilities by suggesting a different angle on how to exploit our know-hows.
Nizar seeks to free his creative instinct. As such, he experiments with several practices in which he channels this energy:
- photography (architectural, city, landscape, street and on stage),
- certain aspects of digital art,
- music (piano composition),
- and computer generated image (3D renderings).
He advocates the idea that to express a certain thought or feeling, it must not necessarily be restricted to a single branch of expression and that sometimes it is by marrying the practices that we manage to best convey what is in us.
