I began teaching the violin at the young age of 18, and I find no greater joy than inspiring students and helping them achieve their goals. My own teachers helped to instill a strong passion for violin pedagogy (the teaching of violin), and I now currently serve as a violin professor at a major university in the United States.
I received my Doctor of Music degree from Florida State University, where I served as a teaching assistant to Dr. Shannon Thomas. Though I now live in Oklahoma City, I regularly return to the state of Florida for performances. I maintain positions with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra as Associate Concertmaster, Sinfonia Gulf Coast as a Section violinist, and with the Chamber Music Institute of the Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival. I have taught maintained U.S. private virtual students from across Colorado, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, Texas, and Virginia. I have also additionally taught internationally and worked with students from Australia, Canada, and Mexico. My virtual teaching experience has helped to build my teaching tools to help bring clarity to complicated concepts on the violin.
