I am a senior psychiatry resident at the University of Calgary School of Medicine. I studied neuroscience for my bachelor’s degree and have a passion for mentorship and education. As a result of good guidance and preparation I was the first in the history of my university to have finished my bachelors degree in 3 years. I received admission to medical school immediately after, and completed the 3 year intensive program during the pandemic. I matched to my first choice most competitive program in my discipline. Since then, I continue to teach at the medical school to inspire confidence in students and their abilities.
