Natasha Palesa Mothapo earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biodiversity and Ecology at Stellenbosch University and graduated cum Laude in MSc Zoology in 2009. He finished her Master's Degree in Zoology at Stellenbosch University in 2013.
Her primary interests aside from biodiversity, includes invasion biology, ecology, integrated pest management, science-policy, conservation science communication to the public, biodiversity and conservation planning (and prioritisation), ecosystem services, environmental resource economics and policy, environmental law, environmental education, and environmental management.
Currently, Dr. Mothapo is a Postdoctoral fellow at Centre for Invasion Biology. She was ad hoc lecturer in Biology in Stellenbosch University - Dept. of Botany and Zoology from September to November in 2013.
