I graduated from Athens Law School. After my Master’s degree in France and my experience in the Greek permanent Mission in United Nations, I emerged as a Greek translator. I translate from English and French to Greek and vice versa. I have been handling subtitles in multiple series and I have been translating legal texts, as well.
Regarding tutoring, I have been teaching modern and ancient Greek for a decade. Teaching for me is a synergy between two minds that try to build a bridge.
My approach in languages is comparative and interactive.
The Greek language seems unattainable. But it is not. It has a solid logic behind every grammatical rule. And in terms of vocabulary, learners are always impressed by the variety of words they know. These words are secretly hidden in their language.
In my course, my goal is to provide people who want to learn Greek, the necessary tools in order to construct their own phrases. The phrases used in the dialogues are updated to today’s spoken language. In other words, it is a survival guide for somebody wanting to stay in Greece.
