About me
Murtaza Ali
CCIE #52886 | Senior Network Specialist & NetDevOps Instructor
Hello! I am Murtaza Ali, a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure #52886) and a Senior Network Specialist with nearly 13+ years of rich, hands-on experience designing, securing, and automating massive global enterprise networks.
Throughout my career—spanning major telecommunications giants, international internet service providers (ISPs), and government ministries across the Gulf region (including Qatar, Kuwait, and India)—I have lived and breathed complex infrastructure. I have architected large-scale MPLS backbones, deployed high-availability routing and switching fabrics using Cisco ASR and Nexus platforms, and managed advanced network security tiers.
Moving Beyond the CLI: My Automation Philosophy
Years ago, I realized that the future of networking belongs to engineers who can write code, not just those who can type manual commands into a terminal. Because of this, I transitioned heavily into Network DevOps.
I have spearheaded real-world automation initiatives using Ansible, Python (Netmiko), Git, and CI/CD pipelines to eliminate repetitive CLI tasks, standardize BGP/interface rollouts, and build reliable "Source of Truth" automation strategies for critical infrastructure.
Why Learn From Me?
I don't just work on networks; I love to teach them. As the Founder and Lead Trainer at Netshark Academy, I regularly train and mentor engineers preparing for elite certifications like the CCIE, CCNA, and advanced Network Automation frameworks.
My Cisco automation credentials include:
Cisco Certified Devnet Professional (DEVCOR)
Cisco Certified Devnet Associate (DEVASC)
Cisco Certified Specialist – DevOps Solutions (300-910 DEVOPS)
I specialize in breaking down incredibly complex, intimidating infrastructure and DevOps concepts into clean, concise, step-by-step blueprints that any beginner can easily digest. My Udemy courses are designed exactly like my production environments: 100% practical, lab-driven, and focused on building job-ready skills.
Whether you are a traditional routing-and-switching engineer trying to future-proof your career, or a complete beginner looking to step into NetDevOps, I am here to provide the support, lab workbooks, and architectural advice you need to succeed.
Let’s stop copying config snippets and start managing infrastructure as code. See you inside the lecture!
