Jacob is the owner of Best Bartenders. A Bartending School specializing in  Training Great Bartenders, Staffing Events and Delivering Cocktail Mixology Workshops.

Based in Toronto, Canada we have created a strong course providing the bare minimum basic knowledge for beginner bartenders, but knowledge that anyone would need to get hired and succeed quickly as a bartender.

The Working Bartender course focuses on the essential information and easy to learn skills to qualify students to become professional bartenders as fast as possible.

Jacob has over 13 years of bartending experience in a wide variety of hospitality establishments. From starting as a barback in night clubs, working in family restaurants and high-volume tourist destinations, to eventually bartending at fine dining private members clubs until eventually founding his own specialty cocktail workshop company and event staffing business.

Jacob has taught cocktail workshops to thousands of clients and has taught bartending to working bartenders for nearly 7 years as of 2025.

He has over 26 years experience in the hospitality industry in many restaurants, bars, hotels and clubs.
