Dr. R. Monika is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering and an M.E. in Communication Systems from SSN College of Engineering, both affiliated with Anna University. She earned her Ph.D. in 2024 on compressed sensing.

With over nine years of teaching experience, Dr. Monika has taught a wide range of courses, including Digital Communication, Control Systems, Computer Communication, and Image Processing. Her primary research interests span wireless communications, wireless sensor networks, compressive sampling applications, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

She has published more than 40 research articles and is an active life member of professional societies such as IEI, IETE, ISTE and ISCA, reflecting her ongoing commitment to research, academic excellence, and industry engagement.
