Dr. Mohamed Khalafalla is an Associate Professor in the School of Architecture and Engineering Technology at Florida A&M University. His research focuses on risk analysis, alternative project delivery methods, and cost estimation for construction and infrastructure projects. He has contributed to national efforts through work with the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) and conducted concrete research for the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Dr. Khalafalla has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, conference proceedings, and technical reports. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, an MBA from the University of Khartoum, and a Master of Science in Law (MSL) from Northwestern University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and brings over five years of industry experience in various roles, including pre-construction and cost estimating.
