Hi there! My name is Dana Ruth and I owned and operated Atlanta Art Worx Studio + Supply for almost 18 years as a working + community teaching studio. In 2022 I closed the studio and moved to Maine pivoting back to the bench full time, opening Modern Metalsmith.

In my tiny, historic Main Street storefront + workshop I fabricate bespoke + custom jewelry and offer full service jewelry repair.  I have almost 20 years experience both as an educator and independent studio jeweler and would love to share my technical take on these skills with you on your journey learning jewelry fabrication!
