Over 17 years of teaching experience across multiple levels and contexts, including in-person and online environments. Specialized in language acquisition, education management, human rights education, and intercultural learning. Recognized globally as a speaker, author, and NGO leader. Minela is a teacher, language trainer, teacher's coach, a mentor, an educational scientist, adviser and author. She went to teacher training high school, after what I study literature at Sarajevo University, the Faculty of Philosophy. In a in a field of educational science, she did her master studies at Zenica University, Pedagogical faculty and doctoral studies at Sarajevo University, Pedagogical Faculty and University of Jyväskylä, Finland. After doctoral studies, she got a certificate in TOESL (by Arizona University, USA) and Bilingual Brain (By Houston University, USA).
She also has served as a university lecturer in Human Resources and Early Foreign Language Learning, and have designed and taught over a dozen online and blended learning courses through platforms like Udemy and UONEDU, an organization that she founded to empower online educators globally.
Her teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in experience, interdisciplinary and intercultural education—principles that mirror SIT’s pedagogical approach. She also presented at international conferences and collaborated on projects addressing citizen science, digital transformation in education, and youth empowerment through education.
