Dr. Mindy Waite has several years of group dog training and behavior consulting experience. Mindy is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (CAAB) and has her Certification Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). All CAABs must meet rigorous standards for academic degrees and animal behavior experience, so there are under 50 in the world. Dr. Waite is a lecturer on Applied Behavior Analysis within the psychology department of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and performs research there on companion dog behavior. Her research has been funded by Fear Free Pets and has also received several conference awards.

She also provides behavioral consulting in the United States, including assessing and providing interventions for individual dogs/households and consulting on behavior legal cases.
