About me
I am a software engineer and the founder of Limato, a browser extension that rewrites, translates, and fixes the tone of English text for non-native speakers.
English is not my first language. I spent years writing emails, pull request comments, and Slack messages that were technically correct but immediately marked me as a non-native speaker: overlong sentences, textbook connectors, and openers no native writer actually uses. I built Limato to fix that in the browser, in one keystroke, wherever the writing happens.
I teach the same patterns I encoded into the product: the specific constructions that give ESL writers away, and the shorter native alternatives that replace them.
