A writer, author, entrepreneur, and television host/producer, Michael Essany has appeared on The Tonight Show, Oprah, CNN, NBC’s Today, CBS News, FOX News, Extra, and Access Hollywood. He hosted “The Michael Essany Show” for seven years, best known for two seasons on E! Entertainment Television.

In December 2005, A&E Biography named Michael Essany to its list of “America’s Most Remarkable People.”

A 2005 honors graduate of Valparaiso University (magna cum laude), Michael has been profiled in Time, Newsweek, People, TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly, Details, In Touch, and every major newspaper in the United States.

In 2008, Essany authored Reality Check (Focal Press), which delves into the production and marketing of commercial television projects. That same year, Essany became a member of the Chicago Board of Trade and was hired as Vice President of Indiana Grain Company (a commodities trading firm), where he also planned and directed the company's social media strategy, landing the company’s CEO on CNBC, the BBC, and in the pages of The Wall Street Journal.
