Founder of Oregon Flight School
Hi I'm Michael! I am a corporate pilot based in Oregon. I began flying when I was 17, worked two jobs in high school to pay for flight training, and passed my private pilot checkride just after turning 18. I acquired a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon in 2014, and then went on to start a drone-based aerial photography and videography business. While working that full-time for a few years, I finished up my ratings and worked a number of pilot jobs, including flying skydivers, fire watch, Part 135 bush flying in Alaska, and flight instructing. For a few years, I flew Citations, CJs, Hawkers, and Challengers all over the PNW, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, and occasionally over to Europe. Then, in 2023, I began flying the Boeing 757 and 767 for a legacy carrier. I love my day job, but I still really enjoy teaching. I hope you find value in and enjoy my courses!
