Mehmet Mete MUTLU studied Leather Technology at the University of Ege (Turkey) between 1990-1994. He is currently a full time professor working as researcher and lecturer at the department of Leather Engineering. He had positions as laboratory director, international relations responsible and vice head of department. His research activities/interests are leather quality control, physical testing of leather, leather dyes, spectrophotometry, colourimetry and new and clean technologies in leather processing.
