I hold a BA English degree and an MA degree in English.  I was a middle and high school English teacher for fifteen years, teaching American Literature, Creative Writing, Film Analysis, AP Literature, and AP Language.  I have also held workshops for college admissions prep for the past seven years.  I now work for Furman University's IT department, focusing on training and communications, and am an adjunct professor for the Furman Communications Studies department.  My first novel, Sweet Divinity, was published in December 2019.
