LearnSixSigma was founded by Martin Hayden in 2024. Martin has 25 years of experience practising and teaching Lean Six Sigma with thousands of students all over the World.

Martin qualified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt in 2002 while working at Perkin Elmer a global life sciences business. Trained by Air Academy Associates in Colorado Springs he became Perkin Elmer's lead six sigma trainer in their global Six Sigma resources team. He has trained over 1,200 Lean Six Sigma professionals and taught courses across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

He is a professional engineer with a background in product design on analytical instruments: infra-red spectrometers, infra-red microscopes and gas chromatography products. Prior to that he worked in design for the aerospace and the automotive industries. With a wide experience in both production environments and in business process and back-office systems he has led many Lean and Six Sigma Projects delivering worldwide business improvements.
