Hi, I am Marko Intihar. I hold a Ph.D. in Logistics from the University of Maribor, where I began my professional journey as a researcher and teaching assistant, focusing on statistics, data analysis, and operations research. During my academic years, I also published several scientific papers in the area of time series modeling.

Curious to see theory in action, I transitioned into the industry, first in the retail sector, where I worked as a data scientist for a major retail company. This experience allowed me to apply machine learning and data mining techniques to real-world, large-scale datasets.

For over six years, I have worked as a data scientist in the banking industry, spanning two major banks. Financial data presents its unique challenges and opportunities, and this environment has deepened my skills in areas such as predictive modeling, advanced data analysis, and business intelligence.
