Marko's 20 years of experience with over 500 companies in various sectors and industries taught him many different sales scenarios and equations. IT, retail, service companies, start-ups, online stores, large manufacturers, … you name it.
He has gained experience mainly in Slovenian and CEE market. He especially understands how B2B customers breathe, as understanding the B2C market is also an extensive part of his CV.
Marko was a sales manager in three mid-sized companies for almost eight years, taking care of strategies and budgets, BPM, coaching, training, compensation plans, price lists and negotiations with the biggest customers.
With all this knowledge, he started his sales consulting business in April 2016. Since then, he has helped over 35 business clients and prepared more than 75 workshops with just over 500 hours of sales training.
In June 2018, he launched Sales Police, a business vlog/blog and sales initiative focused on improving and redefining sales and business with a focus on value creation, knowledge sharing and challenging ineffective practices with no bulls**t mentality. After 64 vlogs, 16 blogs, and a few Covid 19 lockdowns, it was time for the next step.
In March 2021, a personal brand called Salesfocus was created to give an extra edge to all individuals and business ventures looking to make an impact in sales. A key part of this project is unique online sales school/course. Over the past year, Marko has prepared many online courses and webinars for various educational platforms, including Udemy.
