Marilee Nielsen is an award winning watercolor painter whose work has been displayed at art galleries across the United States and has been published in several art magazines.  She is a gifted teacher whose sought after courses are found at colleges and community painting facilities in Southern California.  As a Signature Member of National Watercolor Society and a Juried Member of Watercolor West her paintings have been recognized by some of the top Watercolor Societies in the world. 

She is a seasoned art teacher who has instructed art for over twenty years at the high school level, college level and in Emeritus programs, giving her the unique talents and skills to reach every level of student. 

Teaching art is her passion!  She loves to give step by step instruction that insures success by answering every question, diving deeply into the subject covering every intimate detail that is often glossed over in other classes.  Nothing is more satisfying to her than seeing her students pride in their finished work!
