As the Founder of Emerald Green Ushering Services, Maria has built a premium event staffing agency that secured multiple global partnerships, staffed events for over 70 globally renowned organizations across 25 countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa, and got awarded as Best International Event Staffing Agency in West Africa by Corporate Vision Inc., UK.

Maria also launched Pro Event Hostess - the premier education platform for event staff which has provided professional training to 2000+ young women across Africa to maximize job opportunities in the event staffing industry, working as certified hostesses.

Maria is a Cherie Blair Foundation Mentor Alumna 2023, a CREA Global Awards Honoree 2021, and Nigeria’s 25under25 Awards Nominee 2018. She has been published in international media outlets, including Brainz Magazine, She Leads Africa, Woman Ng, Apreneur, to mention a few.
