Mahmoud Zaghloul

Someone with a passion for ancient Egypt and visiting historic landmarks all over the world, Mahmoud has always been fascinated with the ancient world and considers himself a lifelong learner of Egyptology.

Mahmoud is a member of the AUC Egyptology Association and the Egyptologists’ Electronic Forum (EEF).

Mahmoud holds his bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Canadian International College (Cairo, Egypt) as well as a bachelor's degree in Electronics from Cape Breton University (Nova Scotia, Canada).

Mahmoud is best known for running the twitter handle kingtutnews that has been delivering breaking news about ancient Egypt as well as videos, photos, and links since 2016.

Mahmoud currently resides in Cairo, Egypt with his dog Q.
