Prof. Mahesh R. Sanghavi

Prof. Mahesh R. Sanghavi obtained his Diploma in Computer Technology in the year 1999 from the Board of Technical Education, Mumbai and obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune in the year 2002. With his passion towards the field of Education, he joined the SNJB’s Polytechnic, Chandwad in the year 2002. Since 2004, he has been working as the Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering at SNJB’s College of Engineering Chandwad and currently working as Vice-Principal, HoD Computer & IT. He obtained his Masters Degree M. E. in Computer Science & Engineering from SRTMU, Nanded in the year 2009. He also has completed Ph. D. in Computer Engineering from JNU, Jodhpur in May, 2015. The topic of his research is “Digital Video Watermarking''. From 2007 he is working as Head of the Computer Engineering Department in addition he is also working as HoD IT since 2018. Currently (Since March, 2021) he is deputed as a Vice Principal in the same college. He is an active member of the Syllabus setting committee for the Course like IoT, DBMS, DBMSA & RVPL in SPPU.

Consultancy Work:

He has provided expert guidance & implemented various projects like

· SNJB’s Campus Networking comprises of 7 Colleges

· Server Administration & Security System for SNJB Campus

· Vyankatesh Patsanstha, Chandwad

· Developed the interface for Ambekar Associates, Aurangabad

· Developed Software for Automation of Several Offices.

He is the life member of various professional bodies such as CSI & IE (I). He is Chairman of CSI Nashik Chapter. He is also an Invitee Member of IEI-Local Center, Nashik.

Prof. Sanghavi has more than 25+ research papers published at the national and International Conferences and Journals. He also had published a book having ISBN Number on the subject Recent Trends in Engineering & Technology. He has guided more than 60+ UG Students.

He has worked as a visiting faculty and delivered several seminars on topics related to the field of Information Technology at several Polytechnic & Engineering colleges in and around Nashik and also worked as a resource person for the short- term training programs for teachers.

Recently he is recipient of the award of Best Contribution from Computer Society India at Coimbatore. He was also awarded the Best HoD from CSI Mumbai Chapter at IIT Bombay, Promising Engineer award by IEI, Nashik Local Chapter, Adarsh Shikshak from Deshdoot, Adarsh HoD from Lokmat etc.

Prof. Sanghavi has coordinated several Workshops, Seminars, faculty development programs, short term training programs and conferences in and around Nashik and Pune organized by SNJBCoE, Chandwad.

His areas of interests include Image and Video Processing, Databases, IoT, Data Structures, Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
