About me
I bring over 20 years of experience as an Applied Statistician and Data Scientist with a strong foundation in both teaching and applying statistical techniques to real-world challenges. My career includes 13 years teaching college-level Introductory Statistics courses to undergraduate students at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida, where I helped thousands of students develop a solid understanding of statistics. Additionally, I’ve provided personalized tutoring in Statistics and Math, helping students of all backgrounds achieve academic success.
As a Data Scientist, my passion lies in leveraging data to solve complex problems across diverse domains, including Education, Business, Engineering, Health and Sustainable Development. I specialize in Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on interpreting and presenting insights in meaningful ways.
What makes my courses unique is the use of real-world examples. This approach ensures you gain practical experience and learn how to apply statistical concepts to real-world scenarios. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, hands-on learning, and step-by-step guidance, making statistics accessible and applicable, even for beginners.
When I’m not teaching, I lead projects through my nonprofit organization, OUAGANET, which empowers communities in Burkina Faso by addressing issues like sustainable farming, women’s empowerment, and access to clean water. By combining my expertise in statistics with my commitment to social impact, I aim to inspire students to see how data can create positive change.
Join me in exploring the power of data and building your skills in statistics and data science to tackle real-world challenges!
