Lucas started off as a self-taught musician, playing guitar and piano at a very young age. When he was a teenager he started working on his first recordings, using Cubase and a Roland interface. Eventually he would go on to Metalworks to get a certificate in Recording Engineering & Music Production, and would begin his journey as a professional audio engineer and musician. Between 2013 and 2023 Lucas was the lead singer and guitarist of heavy metal band Malacoda; his experiences in the band would lead him to becoming recognized as a songwriting guru and creatively focused producer. He would end up working out of numerous commercial recording studios in and around Toronto, before eventually becoming a college lecturer at Metalworks.
Lucas has a B.Ed, as well as an Honours B.A. in Humanities. He owns his own private studio out of his home in Ontario, Canada where he works on numerous musical projects for friends and clients alike.
