I am an occupational therapy doctoral student at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. I am passionate about mental health, health and wellbeing, diversity/equity/inclusion, and advocacy within the occupational therapy lens. My project focuses on occupational therapy's role in mental health advocacy in a diverse population at the Friendship House in Kapa'a, Hawaii. Photovoice and other advocacy events are highlighted in this course.
