Laura Silverstein: Helping People Find more Happiness and Connection
She is Owner and Clinical Director of Main Line Counseling Partners, a private group therapy practice outside of Philadelphia. Ms. Silverstein specializing in couples therapy and is currently working in collaboration with the Gottman Institute in a random clinical trial studying a new approach to infidelity treatment.
She has been studying relationships since 1988 and saw her first clients in 1992. Her service has expanded to support and train other therapists, and educate the public through online education and writing. Throughout her career she has maintained an active caseload providing direct care.
She has extensive training in individual, family and couples therapy and has trained with experts in the field, with a focus on human relationship rather than psychopathology. She has completed the highest level of clinical training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, with Dr. John Gottman, world-renown relationship researcher, and clients travel long distances for the opportunity to work with her to improve their family or romantic relationships.
While her training and qualifications are extensive, even more important is her passion for making a difference and her commitment to help people find more happiness.
