La Jon Dantzler has been an emerging presence in the dance industry, earning starring roles in Feature Films such as Stomp the Yard, Step Up 2 The Streets and Step Up 3D as the character“Smiles”, as well as Friends with Benefits starring Justin Timberlake. He has also danced for Missy Elliott, Miley Cyrus, Keith Urban, and Nina Sky to name a few.
Stepping out on his own as a Choreographer, he has contributed to projects in various media, including commercials (Coca Cola, McDonald's, Verizon, MTV), television programs (X-Factor USA, SYTYCD Canada), tours (Madonna, Britney Spears), and music videos (Anjulie, Sariah,Tashi,Cassie).
La Jon was also featured in Dance Teacher Magazine for choreographing the launch of Cheryl Burke's exciting new clothing line with Macy's: Ideology.
As a Creative/Artistic Director, La Jon's credits include the Urban Reach Dance Convention Show ("Identity") and the sold out show "Welcome to The Dollhouse: The Urban Burlesque Experience.
