Dr. Laia Domingo is a quantum machine learning researcher with a deep commitment to accelerating scientific discovery through next-generation technologies. She currently serves as Chief Science Officer at Ingenii, where she leads the design and implementation of quantum solutions tailored to life sciences. Her mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge quantum algorithms and real-world impact—developing end-to-end applications that make quantum’s potential tangible in areas like drug discovery, and biomedical research.
With a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a robust background in data science, Dr. Domingo's research spans quantum reservoir computing, hybrid quantum-classical neural networks, and the use of machine learning in quantum systems. In addition to her role at Ingenii, she teaches postgraduate courses in Quantum Machine Learning at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where she is committed to training the next generation of quantum-ready scientists and engineers.
