Jewelry and Watch Specialist and Trainer
Hello, I'm Ksenija and I’m a Jewelry & Watch Specialist working in the luxury retail industry for almost 10 years. My field of work is in jewelry boutiques on land and cruise ships around the world. I’m also GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified.
I have a great passion for beautiful things – like jewelry and watches. And selling high-end jewelry and Swiss timepieces from different brands means selling luxury. Working in different environments, with different nationalities, I saw many selling techniques over the years. Some worked, others didn’t. But all of them gave me precious information on what to do and not to do to master my selling skills: how to sell an item with the price of 100,000 USD, how to make an effective sales pitch, how to gain affluent customers’ trust, and make them buy from me, how to get them to come back again and again, how to handle a difficult customer and a complaint and how to learn from mistakes (mine and other people’s).
However, when new sales attendants were joining our team, they usually had some knowledge but they didn’t have the right mindset to sell high-end products and they were intimidated by high prices. Many sales were lost and potential buyers were gone.
Luxury is a zero-tolerance industry and beginners have to catch up very fast. Sharing is caring so now I’m sharing my knowledge and experience with others who would like to grow and become successful sales professionals.
