I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has over 20 years of experience working in geriatrics form acute care hospitals to nursing homes. I love working with seniors and their families to achieve the best outcomes and functional independence. I have a passion for education and advocacy. I created this course to be a "primer" for anyone who has little medical or healthcare experience but wants to support an aging loved one well through the complex geriatric healthcare system.  I treat my course material as if we are just having a casual conversation. My goal is to save you headaches and heartaches as you advocate for your aging loved one or parent!
