Steven Khor is currently the Head of Academy and Principal Lecturer at a prominent university in Malaysia. He has extensive teaching experience across a wide range of subjects, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Sustainability, Green Economics, Financial Management, ESG Compliance & Reporting, AI Governance & Ethics (AIGE), and Data Science, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is also actively involved in the design and development of micro-credential courses to support flexible, lifelong learning.

Steven is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), and a Registered Trainer with the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp). He regularly conducts leadership and management development programmes for managers and executives, and is well-regarded for his engaging training style in both technical competencies and soft skills.

With over 25 years of experience teaching ACCA and CIMA, Steven is a highly respected and passionate tutor, known for helping numerous ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW candidates succeed—often on their first attempt. His students have consistently achieved top paper awards and have gone on to become Top Affiliates. Many are now working with multinational corporations, Big Four accounting firms, and reputable audit and tax practices. He is particularly recognised for his ability to simplify complex topics and make them accessible to learners.

Prior to his academic career, Steven served as an auditor with a Big Four firm and later as a corporate banker with an international bank. His practical experience in accounting, auditing, and finance enriches his teaching, allowing students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
