Kendra Moses took up Culinary Arts formally at Old Dominion Job Corps an Accredited Federal Employment and Training Administration Institution that is a part of the U.S. Department of Labor; after spending many years of exploring the aspects of the kitchen for years before your tutelage. She completed the Culinary Arts program in March of 2005 earning the following:
- Certification in Personal Hygiene and Food Safety in December of 2004
- Certification in Pantry Cook in December of 2004
- Certification in Station, Baking, and Hotel/Formal Restuarant Cook in February of 2005.
In Addition, she also interned and worked at the facility performing culinary duties preparing meals for a community of more than 350 students, staff, administration and guests. Exhibiting skills as a:
- Line/Grill Cook
- Commercial Cook
- Baking Skills
- Prep
- Knife Skills
- Sanitation
- Safety
- Preparation and Storage of produce and goods
And Inventory/Stocking among others.
Since departing from ODJCC she has done small to moderate food tasks, orders and luncheons for business, individual, and church vended functions for education figures.
In 2016, she started an entity called Plated Traditions and developed the Plated Traditions Recipe Journal.
