Keirra Strayhorn Winters, published author of eat! easy everyday raw vegan recipes!, former owner of two SANKHYA Yoga Studio locations, and founder of Sarva Y.O.G.A. Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving and empowering youth through yoga, has enjoyed a rich journey through life of inner healing with diet and yoga.
Keirra, aside from obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts and Communication from Clark Atlanta University, holds four (4) yoga teacher training certifications (adult, children, pre-natal, and parent & child), a plant-based nutrition and wellness instructor certification from Cornell University, as well as a raw vegan chef certification. She was also the winner of Pennsylvania's Best 50 Women in Business Award for her progressive entrepreneurial efforts, and was recently interviewed and featured on NBC10 News for her work with the community and participation in community events.
Having spent over a decade practicing and teaching yoga, immensely enjoying a vegan/raw-vegan diet, and working with her non-profit yoga foundation on developing a FREE health-literacy and wellness program for under-served children, it is evident that Keirra takes pride in her work and is grateful to share all that she has learned holistically on a larger platform.
Her heart's desire to find peace and harmony within has grown into wanting to share the gift of health and wellness with others. She continues to make great strides in the wellness industry and is undoubtably making a positive impact on her community and the world with holistic health and healing arts.
