I am Dr. Karthikeyan Dhandapani, an Assistant Professor at SRMIST, deeply passionate about power electronics and drives. My academic journey began with a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from A.I.H.T College, followed by an Master's in Power Electronics and Drives and a Ph.D. in Multilevel Inverters from SRMIST.

With a strong commitment to research and innovation, I specialize in power electronic multilayer inverters, AC drives, and DC drives. As a proud member of IEEE, IET, IEI, and ISCA, I actively explore advancements in electrical engineering to bring real-world insights into the classroom.

For me, teaching is more than delivering lectures—it’s about inspiring, challenging, and mentoring students to think critically and apply concepts beyond textbooks. I encourage hands-on learning, problem-solving, and innovative thinking to help you become future-ready engineers.
