Key Career Achievements Include:
Credit Risk Management: Introduction and enhancement of the Portfolio Reporting Platform for all Credit Risk exposures for Global Bank in Singapore – including the design and introduction of multi-currency stress testing, covenant monitoring, revaluation requirements for real property and electronic LVR breach system.
Organisational Change: Design, implementation and operationalisation of a National Centralised Credit Decisioning function (Australian Bank) to replace a fully De-Centralised model for Personal Banking. Functional change resulted in greater scale, efficiency and speed-to-market for Retail lending products and a first year saving in-excess of AUD1million.
Strategy: Re-Design of Enterprise Risk model for Governance, Change Approval Matrix and Operational Risk Focus from Group/Asia Level to Singapore Centric framework.
Compliance: Chief Regulatory Lead for Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) On-Site Regulatory Inspection for US Bank in Singapore. Lead role providing central point of responsibility across all branch distribution lines, inclusive of preliminary requirements, on-site/off-site engagement and post-inspection remedial design.
Crisis Management: Lead and administered credit controls during National Australia Bank processing payment issue (Failure of electronic payments impacting 80% of all customers)
Leadership: People Leader with experience managing in-excess of 50 staff; inclusive of leadership during organizational change, redundancy and redeployment.
