About me
Green Restoration Ireland is a cooperative organisation established in 2019. We work with farmers, land managers, communities, and partners to restore degraded landscapes while supporting viable rural livelihoods.
We specialise in peatland restoration, carbon farming, and nature-based solutions, combining applied science with practical, on-the-ground delivery. Our work focuses on helping land managers transition to climate-positive practices that improve biodiversity, water quality, and long-term farm resilience—while remaining grounded in real farming systems and economic realities.
Our courses reflect real-world experience from active projects across Ireland and beyond, and are designed to support informed decision-making at farm, community, and policy levels.

Funding & Acknowledgements
The webinars and on-farm training workshops recorded and delivered through Udemy are made possible through public funding and partnership support. This funding allows Green Restoration Ireland to provide independent, science-based education to farmers, land managers, and the wider public at no cost to participants.
Peatlands for Prosperity is co-funded by the EU Just Transition Programme and the Irish Government.
Farm Carbon projects are co-funded by the European Union and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
These partnerships ensure that practical, evidence-based information on restoration, carbon farming, and sustainable land management remains accessible to all.
