Dr. Justin Pahara has a B.Sc. in Immunology and Infection, an M.Sc. in Cell Biology from the University of Alberta (Canada), as well as a Ph.D. in Synthetic Biology from the University of Cambridge (UK). Dr. Pahara is an advocate for making learning life science outside of corporate or university labs possible. 

Dr. Pahara has taught genetic engineering and synthetic biology classes and workshops to hundreds of groups and classes around the world. These include college/universities such as (MIT (US), University California San Diego (US), Teeside University (UK)...) Do-it-yourself Biology spaces such as (AST Space (China) DIYbio Toronto (Canada), BricoBio (Canada), BioCurious (US), La Paillasse (France), London Biohackers (UK)...), and companies like Google.
