Hi, I’m Justin Hansen—lifelong goal junkie, and future jujitsu school owner (you heard it here first).
I’ve been in education for over 10 years, which means I’ve seen just about every training challenge under the sun—and I still love it. With a bachelor’s in History and a master’s in Education, I’ve always been fascinated by how people learn and how to make that process a little less painful (and ideally, even fun).
My approach to training is simple: make it clear, make it useful, and if possible, make it funny. I don’t believe in boring workshops or endless slides—I believe in practical tools that actually help people get better at what they do.
Outside of work, I’m usually either lifting weights, rolling at jujitsu, or setting slightly overambitious goals (like opening my own jujitsu school, biking across the country, or finishing a to-do list before noon). I believe in progress over perfection—and that laughing along the way makes the journey a whole lot better.
