My journey through martial arts is the same as anyone else who cares for the practice of physical, mental, and spiritual improvement. My focus, determination, and willingness through martial arts is what makes what I do and what I've done something special not only for me, but for those willing to learn what I have to teach. I started when I was 5 years old and by the age of 8 earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do from then on I decided to train in other aspects of martial arts from competition to self defense and increased longevity. Tai Chi is just one of many practices that inspire me to help those interested in the art and to improve oneself. The reason for mainly studying this style of tai chi was based on the detail and specifics the motions teach you through practice. The form lead me to train the the traditional style of external power and self defense aspects. When practicing the two different aspects of the art in a tai chi and self defense form the movements become complete. The value of what martial arts and what you can benefit from it is incomparable to anything else in the world. I only hope to share what I have learned so far through my endless journey.
