About me
Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska is a BACP Accredited psychotherapist, researcher, and educator based at Harley Street, London. She is the Founder of the London Academy of Modern Psychology (LAMP) — an educational initiative dedicated to making expert psychological knowledge accessible, practical, and rooted in lived experience.
With a PhD, MA, and Postgraduate Diploma in counselling and psychotherapy, Dr Edwards-Skadowska brings over two decades of clinical experience to her teaching. She is a Fellow Member of the British Psychological Society (FMBPsS) and Clinical Director of London Trusted Therapy, a multi-disciplinary private practice at Pinero House, 115A Harley Street.
Dr Edwards-Skadowska's courses draw on both her professional expertise and her personal journey — including her own late diagnosis of autism at 52. She is a published author, a contributor to Counselling Directory, and a researcher collaborating with the Vibrotactile Lab at the University of Nagoya, Japan. Her work consistently bridges the gap between clinical rigour and human warmth.
At LAMP, she is building a suite of modular psychology courses designed for parents, carers, professionals, and curious minds — offering the kind of practical, compassionate insight that is rarely taught in mainstream education.
Whether you are navigating a significant life transition, seeking to understand the psychological dimensions of parenting, or simply wanting to make sense of your own mind, LAMP's courses offer expert guidance in an accessible, evidence-informed format.
