Rod Griffin is Director of Public Education for Experian. Rod holds a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas, has a Fair Credit Reporting Act certification from the Consumer Data Industry Association and is a Center for Financial Certifications Certified Financial Counselor.
Rod leads Experian's national consumer education programs and works with consumer advocates, financial educators, media and others to help consumers increase their ability to understand and manage their personal finances and protect themselves from fraud and identity theft. The Institute for Financial Literacy named Rod "Educator of the Year" in April 2016.
