I am a native English-speaking teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. Throughout my career, I have worked in the UK, Algeria, Kuwait, Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Poland, teaching in a wide range of professional and business contexts.
I have taught learners at all levels, with particular experience in business English and exam preparation. My work across different countries and cultures has given me a deep understanding of the challenges international learners face when developing their English skills for the workplace.
I hold CELTA and DELTA-equivalent teaching qualifications, reflecting advanced professional training in English language teaching.
In addition to teaching, I currently work as an inspector of private further education colleges in the UK, primarily specialising in language schools. This role gives me a detailed understanding of academic standards, course quality, and what effective language learning should look like.
