Joelle is an ERYT 500-hours Yoga Alliance instructor as well as a certified Personal Trainer, Meditation and Mindfulness teacher and Positive psychology and NLP life coach.
Yoga has always been part of her life with over 20 years of practice. She initially started her journey as a martial artist who stumbled upon her first yoga class and felt immediately the similar wonderful benefits of the practice on the mind and body. Right there she fell in love and yoga was part of her life ever since.
In the last 10 years, Joelle has been teaching her passion of yoga and meditation to inspire students to lead better lives, through the wonderful benefits of both these practices.
Joelle’s foundation is in traditional Hatha Yoga. Hence she appreciates preserving the traditional essence of yoga teachings and philosophies and her classes often revolve around yoga philosophy themes that relates to our current lives.
She also teaches Ashtanga, Viniyasa, Iyengar and therapeutic and Yin yoga.
Her classes often flows into sequences that draws inspiration from her background in martial arts and leading her students to synchronize breath with movements to find that meditative flow.
Her teaching method encourages self-challenge while maintaining full awareness of the physical and energetic body and the observance of the mind fluctuations. Her students enjoy her compassionate approach that makes it ideal for all levels. As a fervent adept of mindfulness, expect a mediation practice to finish the class, so the student can achieve the true essence of yoga through the union of body and mind.
