João Garcia is a passionate software developer. With a solid foundation from both his bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems his journey includes a significant milestone at the Apple Developer Academy, where he started experimenting with IoT and social network solutions.

Transitioning into the startup world, João joined a company specializing in remote legal dispute resolution where he occupied the roles of project manager and mentor, leading a critical technology stack overhaul for the company's core application and microservices.

Subsequently, he found himself as a consultant in the energy sector. He contributed to high-impact projects involving optimization and infrastructure as a service for scaling extremely complex solutions. His work took him to presenting the team’s success at prestigious tech events.

Recently, João Garcia relocated to Lisbon, where he is pursuing his master's degree and joined the Cartesi DevAd team, inspired by his keen interest in emerging solutions and the exciting opportunity to be a part of the significant transformations within this new field.
