In my 11+ years of drawing I found that drawing regularly has helped me develop my creative side. I draw with many mediums such as with a drawing tablet but pen and pencil are still my favorite. I recommend starting with a zen doodle. From there, you can measure the speed and accuracy of a 15 minute portrait with a portrait course. Then try another course of mine such as Realistic Eye or Hand Lettering.
