Hello! Welcome and thank you for selecting my course. I created it for all learners based on a lifetime of teaching students with reading and comprehension issues and learning disabilities. I'm married with seven children, 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

I grew up poor. My mom was a single parent and we struggled to make ends meet. She worked so hard and we had a happy home and a lot of love but we also had a lot of hard times too.

If my mom had known the information in this course, she wouldn't have had to work so hard and we would have had a home of our own and she would have been able to retire with a comfortable retirement income.

Mom had a good retirement but it barely covered her expenses. I created this course for people like our family. My mom would have been proud of me for creating this course, just as I am so proud of her for overcoming all of the challenges she faced as a single mom (and stand-in dad).

I have master's in psychology, criminal justice, and education. I'm a retired assistant professor and middle school social studies teacher.
